Wow! No use of any ebook. The paper version was pretty amazing. Took me most of my free time, every evening before bed and the past week-end (mostly sunday). And now I know! : )
Well this book is a real masterpiece of mysterium. I eventually got some ideas about the "Harriet case" (which happened to be true : )). The book is really well written, the intrigue is taking one and it makes it difficult to put it aside even for sleeping. Note that I read it in Swedish (I guess the language it was written originally). The vocabulary used is clear and easy to get (if not the context definitely helps to understand what is going on!).
If I may make a bit of remark here is that I notice now and then some repetitions in the text. Well it does not appear as direct copy/paste, but give the feeling of "déjà-vu" (or more accurately "déjà-lu" ;o) Not sure if this is noticeable when reading little by little, but when doing it at once or big piece by big piece, then it is sometimes "obvious".
Despite of this I found as mentioned earlier the intrigue well build, only little making the end easy to guess (well I did a little but what can I say more : )
So for this first volume of Stieg Larsson I would give a strong 8.5/9 out of 10 and will soon report on the second volume (which I bought this afternoon and started a bit!). HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
